Default Inside Rumor for 2017

My local Harley dealer is around Milwaukee.

According to one of the managers, there has been some leakage from the corporate office to the effect that there is a new V-Twin motor on the way. It's a 107 single cam.

All I know. Just a rumor.

You heard it here folks, Inside Rumor from someone on the outside, who got it from someone on the outside, that heard it leaked by someone at corporate. Sounds like that old song "I heard it from a friend who, heard it from a friend who, heard it from another you been messin' around"

Even if it's true, it's not necessarily much of a technological jump. It would essentially be just a bigger Evo and we know some aftermarket MFGRs are already doing 120 and up Evo motors.

Maybe some truth behind this. I was recently speaking with a gentleman on a call for service. Motorcycles came up in the conversation and his sons work. He advised his son was in Wisconsin working with Harley on some new system for a new engine they were building. This was not a "Harley Guy".

I got it on good authority that the 2018 models will have two round wheels except for the ones that don't. Some will even have spoke wheels except for the ones that don't.

Only eight?! I have six now but I was hoping to have at least an additional two to add to the one I never use now.

"People say believe half of what you see. Some or none of what you hear" Marvin Gaye "Heard It Through The Grapevine" It will be interesting to see how much of the inside rumor BS is accurate after the annual dealer meetings. Probably almost none of it.
