Default Seat Conversions

New Member, hope I'm not beating a dead horse here ...

I have an opportunity to grab a brand new Drag Specialties 2up touring seat for super cheap that was only ridden a couple of weekends, and the guy just didn't like it ..

He had it on his 2009 Electra Glide ... I want to mount it onto my 2007 Electra Glide ..

I know that they change the mounting from 2007 to 2008, but was wondering ... hoping .. that maybe there was a way ..... conversion kit, or some method/modification that works?

Default Don't bother

It will be around 2 inches short in the nose. Been there, tried that. If it's cheap enough, buy, re-sell, make some money, buy a different seat that WILL fit. That's what I did. Good luck with it.

Right now I'm riding the police solo on my FLHTPI. It has a plastic cap that covers the hinge bracket ... I'm wondering what else might be available to fill that part of the tank below the console ..

I've got to grab this seat from the dude. He only wants $200 for it, and they sell for $674 ...
Worst case I resell it like you said ..
