Default Fob issues...

So today I started my bike with the fob and let it warm up while I put on my gear. Well long story short during the ride I realized I didn't have my fob or keys with me. Usually the bike tells you there is a missing fob while you're ridding....but it didnt. Anyone ever had this issue? Any suggestions?

False alarm guys...apparently it either has a limit on the warning as you first take off or I acknowledged it and it cleared...

Find out what the code is to start the bike without the fob. Your dealer should tell you what they usually program the bikes with.

Better yet set a new code, and practice starting the bike that way. Never know when you'll need to for real.

Every 6 months or so I practice starting the bike using the user-settable security code. Cheap insurance if you need it to get home, i.e. if you lost your fob.
