Default Off the showroom floor must have changes

What are those dealer installed modifications you absolutly have to have? Dealer supplied and installed or changed out. What should i be thinking about "right now" that you did not think about before buying your first brand new HD?

Example: i saw one bike with aluminum covers which need to be chrome.

"aluminum covers which need to be chrome" is a matter of opinion. I happen to like polished aluminum

Don't worry, in a little while there will be no end of opinions.

For me it would be handlebars and horse power!

But I wouldn't let the dealer fix either issue so I guess I'm no help,,,,,,,

Everybody's got their own opinion. Me, I don't like electrical work so I like the front turn signals remounted on the tree, and on this last one, a docking kit installed with a license plate relocation. Most everything else I'd do myself if I wanted to change anything, unless it was major engine work or new wheels or something.

I had them put SE slipons on it, I've never seen my new bike with the stock pipes. Every one they sell has a docking kit already on it so I didn't actually order it but I would have. Also bought the backrest and rack.

I ordered a 2 into 1 V&H Pro-pipe, and stage 1 kit.
Anything else I added was based on riding in different conditions according to need and comfort by me.

Axel end Covers. I hate the look of them without I think it looks terrible An unfinished And something that should come from the factory. And then a stage 1.
