I wore the same things then that I wear now..jeans,black t-shirt, and long hair. Clean shaven, though.

In the 70's I had a jacket made by a local guy who custom made jackets for HA. I still have the jacket. It is the heaviest leather you have ever seen. Too bad it no longer fits me!

Have a heavy but real soft black Elk skin pullover Daniel Boone style shirt without all the fringe I picked up at some backwoods outfitters place up in Oregon I rode for years in with a sweatshirt under it. Same deal I'll never get into again and even if I did I think getting out of it would more work than it worth anymore, hate the thought of letting it go.

Diapers, followed by whatever was on blue-light special at the K-Mart; lots of GI-Joe and He-Man.

LOL TarSnake, I was going to get into the leather v textile debate, but, yes, its been done to death. Do I sense a troll?

My go-to is leather, but I'll wear lighter stuff if and ONLY IF it is bloody hot. Personally, I believe leather gives better abrasion resistance.

Wear, or don't, what ya wanna. Its still (at least for the next coup of months) a free country. If someone tells me its for my own good/I can't do it because they don't like it, I will run in the opposite direction as fast as I can.

But please, have a nice day!
