Default A question about shipping a motor.

We are in the process of buying a TC motor for a project.
Have tried a few search's such as shipping Harley Davidson engine, shipping a HD motor and few others on the forum.
Well that hasn't gotten much results

Have done a few online searches such as Fed EX, R@L and one other.
These sites are coming up with quotes of 450- 600 bucks

I'm hoping someone has an idea or method to reduce this expense.
I don't need it in 4-5 days

Here's the shipping info
20" width
24" deep
27" tall
175lbs
Auto part ( only thing close to it shown)

from 22401 to 79701 zips

Appreciate the help

Just go to your local trucking company like Averitt, R&L, etc...get them to do it.

Averitt I don't know but will ck them.
I did an online quote at R&L that was 498.00

Was working on this with a former employer but running into some resistance.

Thanks WP

I had one shipped from Ohio to Baton Rouge, used a trucking company to my front door, was RL trucking. it's been a few years and was on a pallet, The engine itself was boxed , was around 200.00.
