Default Clucth slipping ??

Looking for some knowledge.....replaced stock clutch handle and bracket for chrome ones. Ran the adjustment all the way in, removed stock ones, installed chrome ones. Reset adjustment to where it was before, but clutch was slipping. Adjusted almost all the way out, but still slipping slightly. Could I have altered anything on the other end of the cable inside the transmission side plate that would cause this? I appreciate any feedback that anyone can offer! 2012 Street Glide..

I would start at the beginning and reset the adjustment at the clutch and go from there. You should have about a nickle's width of space where the cable enters the clutch lever perch.

Completely agree with QC; adjust the clutch pack and the clutch cable freeplay. If you don't have the Service Manual follow post #10 in this thread HERE As QC mentioned, a nickle's width between the clutch cable ferrule and the perch when you adjust the cable freeplay. I keep a nickle in my toolbox just for that reason

You need to adjust the clutch pack, not just the cable.

Thanks to all, advice did the trick. Started over, ran adjustment all the way in and then reset to original position and worked perfect.
