Default New Tires

Coming up on 5k on my 14 Street Glide and thought I'd ask for opinions on the best tires. Live in Florida, so lots of heat and humidity for most of the year.

Not trying to be a smartass.....but is there a typo here? A two year old bike & you are just coming up on 5K & needing tires at that too?

OP didn't say, but, it might be that he doesn't need them but wants a better set possibly?

Never ran the Michelin tires. I have used the American Elites on the last two bikes and just put those on my 15. I can usually get around 18,000 miles out of a set. Really depends on my riding style while there on the bike. I replaced my stock tires at 13,000 miles but only because we are leaving for Yellowstone in a week.

I'm about to replace my stocks. Decided to try out the Pirelli Night Dragon's. Great reviews.

I'm in need of new tires as well. The Pirelli's sound really good, but the reported reduced mileage gives me pause. If I were on a cruiser with more lean angle I'd consider these.

I'm somewhere between the American Elites and Commanders.
