Recommendations On Motor Internals For a 2016 Road Glide
I am wanting to hop up the motor on my new 2016 Road Glide. I have always done Screamin Eagle stuff in the past but now I realize it's mostly just overpriced "marketing" . What are you guys doing with these motors. I need something that is reliable but can give me an extra true 20-25 or so HP. What's the hot set up? Thanks

Head Quarters is my recommendation. I've been running their TC-95-ST kit in Reaper since 2006 (an earlier version of the kit with HQ-0039G cams), and it has been bulletproof in the over 100,000 miles since. I gained over 30 hp and over 40 ft-lbs, at the rear wheel, over the stage 1 she came with. Because I prefer the classic look of a 2 into 2 exhaust, I left some hp and torque on the table. That said, the last time I had her dynoed, she got 96 hp/112 ft-lbs. With a good 2 into 1 pipe, she would be over 100 hp and int he 120 ft-lbs range. She averages 45+ mpg at 75 mph on the highway, too.

Cheers!

kojak has it right.
Ride it "as it is" for a while, at least six months to a year.
Then you'll have a better understanding of where you want to go.
Best advice:
If you want it to run reliably for a long, long time -- leave the inside of the motor alone.
De-cat if you wish, put mufflers on it, maybe an air cleaner, and (of course) a tuner.
But leave the innards alone.
