Default Riding the Sporty out to Ocean City, NJ

Taking a day trip out to Ocean City, NJ on the 25th of June. Anyone out that way have any tips for places to see? My basic game plan is walk the boardwalk until I'll hungry and then find the best seafood place in the area and pigout and then boardwalk some more, maybe the beach for a little, and then roll on back home. Also feel free to meet up with me and be a tour guide if ya want lmao

P.S. - if this is posted in the wrong area feel free to call me a dumba$$

May have to make that a part of my trip. I've been craving fresh seafood so I figured why not make the trip while it's nice out lol

Ocean City NJ is a "family" resort (not that I don't have a lot of fragrant memories), which means it's a dry town, so if you're planning to stay overnight or longer you might want to stock up at the Circle Liquor Store in Somers Point on Route 52 just before the bridge. i haven't been there in years. Watch out for overpriced "touristy" places!

But if you go to http://www.foodnetwork.com/shows/din...and-dives.html, Guy Fieri (and my lady and I) has visited at least 4-5 restaurants within a few miles or OC, and were very pleased!

Only going for a day trip. I Googled a couple places and the Crab Trap is sounding like my kind of seafood place. I may stop for a beer on the way out, but I have a 3 hour ride home.

In OC? Hula grill and Ikes Crab cakes are real good.
6 hr round trip? You should stay a night. Lots to do in the area. FYI cheap rooms at Tropicana in Atlantic City [25m north Sun-Thurs.

Nothing beats Midway on the Sleezeside Boardwalk (Seaside. I can say that because I live two miles from there)

Maybe if I had an ol lady to take out with me to enjoy the night life and such. I'm just rolling out with some friends who recently decided to follow along in their cage. Something tells me I may end up with a slight entourage lol. If I get tired on the way back I'll have my ride pack with me to use as a pillow when I stop at a rest station or whichever.

Midway on sleeze er uh seaside boardwalk got it. This is turning into a foodie day. If anyone on here finds me unconscious on the beach in a food coma, please sit me up against a no walking sign or something.

If you can wait until the Sep 8-11 weekend, there is a huge bike rally in Wildwood, NJ, they have it every year, tons on bikes and vendors, great food, you can't turn without seeing a bike for like a 50 block area, there are more further out as well, just a fun place to be at.

I'll have to make sure I'm out there for it. I'm looking forward to Gettysburg bike week coming up in July. Going out for the last 2 days of it. Wet t-shirt contests and music and food. Plus the bsr entertainment doesn't look half bad if I say so myself.
