I have an 09 Road King Classic with leather wrapped hard bags. I have been watching Craigslist for a set of used fiberglass/plastic hard bags and will have them painted to match my bike. Has anyone had a set of bags and lids painted? If so about how much am I looking at to have it done? It would be a two tone turquoise over antique white color scheme or possibly just the turquoise

I did my own with rattle cans. Turned out nice.

 

For a quality job, roughly $250 per piece...and the lids a separate pieces. So if you can get two-tone done for $1000 total, good for you..

 

I would estimate for just the bags - single color - around $300 for vivid black - $400 for other colors - for the lids - another $200-$250 - assuming no prep work needs to be done
