Process to cancel ESP?

the money returned will be prorated. and that means that if you got it new with the bike, from day 1, not after the 2 year factory warranty ran out.
if you are within 60 days of purchase, I believe, you get the entire amount back.
and if the bike is currently financed, they will (most likely), cut the check to the lender. I say 'most likely' because that is the info that I got from them when I was looking to cancel my esp. but there have been others who have said that they received a check. mistake, slip through the cracks, luck of the draw, who knows?

I've cancelled the CNA plan when I've sold bikes. No hassle at all. Call the dealer, signed a form, got a check a week or two later. I've always paid cash for the ESP, so the check came to me. If the ESP was financed with the bike, the check might be sent to the bank. Like someone else mentioned, the refund is pro-rated, but they've been fair with me.

Read your plan documentation, that is where any refund would be spelled out. If you financed the plan with the bike, they will likely just credit the refund back against your loan. If you paid for it out of pocket, you should get check or whatever is spelled out, but it should all be in the contract. I'd expect some type of pro rated refund, but again, your contract should spell all that out.
