Yes they are! If yours craps out check out the Denali air horn. They seem a little better constructed and as loud if not loader. My wolo vibrated apart inside and I could not fix it. I think it lasted 4 months or so. Of course your experience may differ from mine.

I know I've wanted a WoLo horn ever since I saw and heard one. But...what stops me is wiring it because TBH, I suck at it and I'd probably fry the system and I don't use my horn that much. And when I try to, I ALWAYS hit the turn signal.

I have the Wolo Bad Boy horn, and it's given me some issues. The first one started separating. Not uncommon for these, unfortunately. The vibration down there is pretty strong and I don't think they can handle all that.

I went for my horn someone pulled in front of me...silence. It was inside 30 days so I got a replacement. I used clear silicone around the bottom to prevent this from happening again, and so far it's worked.

It's a pretty inexpensive item, so I guess you get what you pay for. I do love how it sounds though!

I had a friend who purchased the Wolo Bad Boy. The first time he used it part of the housing broke off.

I don't have a problem with people hearing my horn. It has a compressor for each trumpet under the chrome plated steel housing. It measured 129 dB when I had it (informally) tested with a sound level meter.

I"ve had mine for over 4 years. its mounted off the front down tubes as I had a fan where the horn used to be. The fan (Lenale) literally shook apart. So I think the down tube is a good location.

Bone Doc what brand is that horn? I like the looks of that. Most of the trumpet horns I see need a tank and compressor. Those look good on the side of your bike. Thanks.

COC If you can use the internet you can wire one of these. Just google 4wire horn relay for Harley.

Same problem here. I've had thoughts of the accident investigation report, "He died in a collision. He put his left turn signal on at the last moment, we don't know why."

I actually put some blue electrical tape on my horn button, which helped. The other thing I've done is tap the horn on each ride, to try to embed it into muscle memory.
