Would you trust it 100% and buy one that yr. Or would you wait 3 or 4 yrs to see how the motor pans out .

I'd sit out the first two model years, maybe only one if I knew a few folks personally that were having great results as early adopters.

I'd wait but considering I'm on the last bike on my life, it doesn't matter.

i would give it three to five years. Hell, they have had over 110 years and still haven't got things right. things keep getting cheaper and cheaper every year now.

Three to five years but my Evo is my last bike so it doesn't really matter.

The new engine will cause many barely used twin cams to flood the market, which will translate to good deals on those for people that don't need the very latest and greatest.

At least 2 or 3 years and IF it "holds together"...I might consider replacing my 2007 FLHX Patriot. I'm not holding my breath.

At least 2 years. Remember the 07-08 touring bikes and all the awful problems they had with the first couple years of the 96 motor and 6 speed. Shifting flywheels, bad transmission bearing, cracking rear head pipe, bad compensator sprocket, fuel injector wiring. Did i leave anything out?
