Default Tinnitus

Took my 1200C on a 900 day trip. Did it over two days. After the trip my ears rang for about a day. This was about a month ago.

Just this past weekend I took my bike on a 230 mile trip in a two days and my ears have been ringing since I returned from the trip.

I'm getting really depressed. I'm 30 year old and have a constant ringing in my ears right now. I took off work today so give me ears a break. I don't know what to do.

I have short shots on my sporty but I hear that the wind actually causes the most damage.

I've had it as far back as I can remember. I think I was 8-9 years old and my ears have been ringing ever since. I wear a full faced helmet and that helps keep the wind out of my ears.

I got earplugs but they only came in the mail yesterday. Wished I had them for my past weekend trip.

I'm praying this ringing goes away. I was only on the bike for 2.5 hours.

You may not realize it, but NYC is loud everywhere you go. You have probably been exposed to a lot of noise over the years.

I have had Tinnitus in my left ear constantly since 2011. It never went away, but I don't notice it much anymore. I wear an earplug in my ear with Tinnitus. And in in my other ear for long trips. They say you should try to ignore it and not think about it, and I used to do that when the tinnitus was sporadic.

Good luck.

It's a sign of hearing loss. Ear plugs will help as will a full helmet. I have bilateral hearing loss and my aids cost about 3000 each. Do yourself a favor and protect them

I know you probably got some top of the line ones, since they came in the mail, but any drug store has em

Me too...almost from the first ride. I think some think I wear them because of my pipes. No. On the highway, I can't hear them over the wind noise. And I wear a 3/4 helmet with a face shield. Plus I got my wife to wear them too.

Ha,

That ringing is going nowhere, it might go away in a few weeks but you will always hear it. Go into a really quiet room in a few weeks and you will probably still hear it. I recommend a white noise machine when you go to sleep. You know those noise boxes for newborns.

Earplugs are the best thing to prevent hearing loss, never leave without it.

As you get older it is normal for you to get ringing in your ears. You can reduce damage by wearing earplugs. Wearing a helmet that covers your ears along with earplugs is a good idea. Schuberth sells a helmet that is wind tunnel tested to lower wind noise.
