Default HDFS interest rates on 2017 m8's

Just wondering what kind of interest rates those who have financed are seeing. It's been 15 years since I've bought. My credit union is 4.45%

Try a few different credit unions. Some will beat their competitors.

Last couple summers they've been offering 0.9%

dont see why this upcoming summer would be any different?

What rate HDFS will give you and what the dealers finance guy will tell you what rate HDFS will give you are two different things. Trust me on ths.

I told the sales manager I wasn't buying my 15RGS unless it was .09% financing. Told him I don't wanna hear Jack about monthly payments, money down or any of that salesman Mumbo Jumbo. He came back with the loan approved from HD Eagle Mark for 0.9% There was no negotiations I was gonna get it for that rate or I wasn't getting it @ all

They are at 1.99%, no money down on the 16's but haven't seen anything on the 17's.

I definitely know the dealer will add on their own points, it's straight profit each month for them. I've been talking to a salesman, he told me he could discount the msrp the amount of the sales tax. I then asked what kind of rates he was seeing and his response included the following: "I had to finance through hdfs or he couldn't discount the price - complete bs!, I could refinance in 4 months - in other words he was going to take me over the coals, I have very good credit, and then he made sure to tell me the F&I guy would give me the rest of the finer details of additional fees - this is where they'll make up their discounted price. He seems to think the M8 gives him free reign to royally stick it to people, and I'm sure he's doing just that to the uneducated.

All of that combined ensured he would not get my business. I'm going to continue shopping around but I'm hoping to finalize everything when I find the deal I'm looking for. It's a pain in the backside to run to the credit union, pick up the check and drive back. If HDFS can compete than that makes it much simpler for me.

Good think you didn't talk about price on top of the interest rate or you would have had them.
