I did a search but didn't come up with anything. I'm only interested in the HD in helmet headset and the Bell Custom 500. Please dont chime in with other brands I need to try.

Has anybody put the HD in helmet headset in a Bell Custom 500 helmet. How did it work and did you have to modify anything to make it fit?

 

I have a Bell Custom 500 that I used my factory Harley headset on for a short while. It clamped on to the helmet with no problems and I tucked the wires under the liner. It seemed to work OK but I just decided I didn't like a cord connecting me to the bike. I hated messing with that cord so I took everything off and put it back in the box. I still wear my Bell Custom 500.

 

Did the speakers fit ok?

 

Yes the speakers fit fine, used Velcro to secure them.
