Default Battery tender question

I let my 08 dyna sit from November to The end of January (we've had a very wet winter). I did have it on a tender jr the whole time. When i went to start it, no way. Cranked but would fire. Did get it going finally and put fresh gas in it, rode to work (1.5 hours round trip) and had to park it again for a week on the tender. Tried again yesterday and again no start. Tender problem? The light on tender goes from solid red to solid green after a while with no flashing that I know of. Tender jr is probably three years old and used constantly. Any thoughts? Thanks a head of time.

I had that happen once when my bike was parked for awhile. It was finally found to be a bad battery. It would charge up giving the tender a green light, but not hold the charge.

Sounds like your battery is on it's last legs not the tender.

Probably get the battery tested. If it is the original battery , your due a new one for sure.

My bike is a '13, it has always been on a tender, when it wouldn't start I had the battery checked. New battery=no problems.

I believe it's the original battery. Was in denial that the battery could be going bad. Will take it to have a load test done to it. Thanks guys.

There is a difference Yuasa GYZ series; the highest rated AGM battery for our HD's. The GYZ20HL in my Wide Glide was fresh in the pipeline and is now rated at 320 CCA and 20Ah.
