I would like to meet and talk to a lady that rides her own bike every woman I meet and start talking with when the topic of riding comes up everyone of them say riding a motorcycle is to dangerous that's the end of that so long see you later

 

I've seen female bikers from the late fifties on. See substantially more in the past 6 - 8 years.

The one's that I have talked to are very interesting ladies. Met a high level executive from Delta Airlines that had just retired and was riding the various continents. She must have been important to Delta they wanted her back and she accepted provided she worked every other month. It did not cost her a thing to ship the bike to any country she wanted to ride in.

Question to those that don't like the Curated Content posts. Could you explain just why you read and post on them? That seems bizarre to me. Just don't read them and STFU!!!

 

Well, below, here you are commenting in a thread where the OP was discussing his displeasure about his seat wearing through the paint on the gas tank. That issue doesn't bother you but you felt the need to read, post and put him down. Maybe you need to take your own advise sometimes and "STFU" as you put it. Bizarre isn't it?

What's your idea of 'get out'? I live in the snow belt and rode about 7,600 miles last year. I sold Harleys when I was between corporate jobs. Sold lots of bikes but never to a (single) woman who wasn't in the company of a male rider. Harley is targeting women riders. Their numbers will grow in time, but for now there just aren't many, at least not in the Chicago and Milwaukee area where I ride.
