It gets so humid here. i use a Icon strongarm jacket (denim with leather arms) that has front vents that pass through to the rear of the jacket. It has some decent removable protection and semi comfortable.

I wear armored gloves, jeans with basic armor, basic boots, helmet

sometimies Ill ride with jeans and a tshirt(to helll with it)

I found that layers of clothing is best in heat and cold , you can peel off or put on
I'm fine in heat as long as I'm moving

steel toed boots,
jeans,
long sleeve shirt
leather
hi vis orange vest
textile gloves
half helmet sunmer
full face winter.

hope to never go down, dress for the crash, nothing else.

staying cool is easy, hydrate, say in the wind, when not moving stay in the shade.

i ridden all over the US, never a problem, hot or cold.

I commute year-round in Alabama in a one piece Aerostich Roadcrafter. It can be a little sweaty standing still in hot weather, but jut fine when on the move.

I know its an age old argument with no settlement in site but I (personally), wouldn't wear steel toes while riding.
