Default I bought a dolly...

After buying a Sears yellow jack to replace my 5 yo Amazon jack, I was dissapointed in the yellow jacks steadiness. I knew I didn't want to pull a wheel with my bike on it. So by recommendation of a forum member here I bought myself a Redline dolly. I was a little nervous after coming home to see the box, but everything was there and undamaged. Just install wheels and adjust for height and width. Put my RK on it and pushed it around the garage, very steady. I believe this is set at the middle height.

Now that looks pretty handy. My "garage" is basically just a shed for the bike and tools so the dolly wheels would be pointless, but even without the wheels on it, it would still be way more steady than the jack. (I have the yellow one as well).

Maybe you could replace the wheels with these...

My Sears yellow jack works as a dolly when the platform auto-locks in place and I pull it around by the handle.
After removing a wheel, I put a block under the fork or swing arm and lower the bike until it's supported on both ends again.
ETA: I checked Redline's website; it looks like quality stuff.

My Sears red jack has a bigger foot print, and tie downs for straps. I'd rather change my wheels on my jack than that dolly!

Your Sears red jack is longer than than the Redline Dolly but is certainly not wider.
The Redline dolly also has tie down points, but it's so stable they are really only for peace of mind.

Outside to outside I've got my Redline dolly set at 25" wide X 20" deep and it could be adjusted slightly wider.
The width is where the stability is.

I had the Sears red jack before I got my Sears yellow jack and I'm a fan of the red jack.
But it ain't more stable than the Redline dolly.

Yep, I did not feel the need to strap it down, even while pushing around garage. Very stable, and open for fluid swaps. I have dolly set to be just wider than yellow jack.

I have a nice bike jack, can't remember the name at the moment but beats the HF/Craftsman by a long shot. Tried a meager search for yours as I am very intrigued due to being able to change fluids. How or does it actually lift? A link please?

Its not a jack, but just a dolly. Jack it up, drop it on dolly. Remove jack.
