In preparation for this years ride down to Daytona my wife asked me to order a BrightAssLights 4 LED tail light that will be here next week. A friend has one and the minute she saw it she loved it. I appreciate everyone here on HDF that answered my questions.

But she surprised me yesterday. She purchased two 3m orange safety vests. She began to cut them up and presto she sewed them to the back and sides of our tour luggage rain cover.

She is all about being seen and I appreciate what she contributes to a safe ride.

I have to hand it to her. She did a wonderful job. The top outside has orange thread that blends right in and the under side has black thread so you don't even see it. I still cannot figure out how she does that but it looks very professional.

That cover looks real good, we've been in some frog strangling rains on the RGU could have used something like that. I wear a black helmet but the wife's is a red metallic and we normally have a flag flapping behind her, it's all something to catch the eye. Not to take away from your wife's idea but people ignore ambulances , police cars and bright red or yellow fire trucks with all the lights going. Why not have your wife submit this idea to HD for some royalty money? Enjoy your trip to Daytona, and ride safe.
