All I can say is that since the wife got her own bike I've never ridden so much. Used to be she wanted help in the yard on the weekend - now she wants to confirm the tanks are full and what time we're leaving ;-)

In reading a large number of threads around here complaining about dealers not holding a customer's hand and stroking their head, posters being "offended" by the truth, posters who complain that they didn't like the "tone" of someone who gave them the information they needed but didn't want to work for, nobody stopped to help me, waaah "I can't get my iphone to sync with Boom Audio", "the color of my transmission case doesn't exactly match the color of my engine case on my new bike" for cripes sake; I'd say NO; riding a Harley is no longer a man's "sport".

Or when you see two people on a bike, its normal to think it's the guy's bike and the wife is riding with him. Conversely if you saw a gal or two gals on a bike, it would still turn heads, its not normal. I think it will always be that way, she thinks in 10 to 15 years it will be 50/50 guys vs gals riding. I do see the culture changing with millennials but not sure motorcycle's will change with that. What do you guys think? No real right or wrong answer.
Personally, when I ride my bike on a daily basis, I never considered it a sport. In fact, I considered it a way of relaxing and getting some wind therapy. As for women riders, I know several that ride, both here and in Europe that would blow the doors off of most of the so called 'men' here. True story, when I went to Sturgis in 2011, a friend of mine rode her '05 883L from my house to Sturgis and back for a round trip total of a little over 3000 miles in 3 weeks. How many so called 'men' do you know that would have the, you know what, to ride an 883L that far? Also, women were riding long time ago and riding in conditions that many so called men wouldn't because they'd be more concerned about getting their bikes dusty or dirty.

Yeah it almost makes you think that Harley's Motorclothes collection should include at least one model of lightened loafers doesn't it?

I love to see a women riding by on a Harley, My blood pressure goes up. If she is real hot I get heart palpitations.

Was on a ride and this chick IMHO seemed to have better skill on the bike than her boyfriend/husband, and there are a lot of women that ride in the local HOG chapter.
