Default Harley's Still a Man's Sport?

Had a debate with the wife about if Harley's and motorcycling is still primarily a guys sport or not. No harsh feelings, just a good discussion. There are definitely more female riders then 10 or 20 years ago but when you see a bike, it's likely a guy. Or when you see two people on a bike, its normal to think it's the guy's bike and the wife is riding with him. Conversely if you saw a gal or two gals on a bike, it would still turn heads, its not normal. I think it will always be that way, she thinks in 10 to 15 years it will be 50/50 guys vs gals riding. I do see the culture changing with millennials but not sure motorcycle's will change with that. What do you guys think? No real right or wrong answer.

Sport? It's riding a bike, not a sport. I would say a skill, but after seeing some riders handle their motorcycle, even calling it a skill is highly questionable.

Now that Harley started selling the Street 500 and 750, I bet there will be a lot more women riders, considering that's the market HD is going after. But then again, I'm just guessing. Who knows, sale of those could totally bomb too.

My girlfriend of 4 years would have never previously considered riding until she met me and I got her addicted. Now she is considering taking MSF course and getting a beginner bike to try out. I'm thinking a little bobbed out sporty would be perfect for her.

Harley's Still a Man's Sport?
Define " man "..... that line got real blurred when the electric starter became common.

Women been riding just as long as men, but maybe not as much publicity.

Everyone should have to ride a motorcycle as a prerequisite of getting their license. They really just cover other cages.

It keeps people ignorant of alternate vehicles and how to behave around them.
