RE: Brake caliper with built-in lock
I saw those in the new issue of Barnett's magazine, they did an install on one of their bikes, good idea but thedownside is you still have to carry the spring loadedpin aroundin your pocket or bag, you have to remove the plug, install the pin and then roll the bike till it clicks into a hole in the rotor.

RE: Brake caliper with built-in lock
We don't consider a down side to any of it for a couple of reasons: the brakebolt that you carry is about the size of a chapstick and comes with a quick release for your keyring. The dress plug is just for appearance and you don't have to have that in place if you prefer not to carry another small item with you. Rolling the bike ahead or backwards a couple of inches does in fact lock the bike up so that there is no movement. The "upside" of this, is that if you forget to remove the brakebolt and try to take off, you can't damage anything like you can with a disc lock. The engine simply stalls out because the bike can't move, period. That's why we came out with the RoadLoK. Many Harley Dealers are authorized RoadLoK dealers now. Finally, another great feature is the fact that it is an upgrade to a high performance 4 piston brake caliper. Truly a noticeable improvement especially on the single front disc bikes.
