Default Some Cagers should not be Driving!

On the way up to bike night yesterday evening my wife(on back)and I were on the way up Buffalo's here in Jax and stopped at a major intersection at a red light turning left. The light turned green for us to go and I always check each way even though it is green before I go. Just got into thehabit of doing so since I got my bike last december. Looking to my left I noticed a large station wagon coming to the red light at the intersection and seemed to be not slowing down. Sure enough did not even hit the breaks and went directly through the red light a good 2-3 seconds after my light had turned green. If I had not looked as I always do My wife and I would be dead. I layed on my horn at him as he went throught the intersection and gave him the #1 sign. It was a chinese or japenese man and wife. There was a truck behind me and after we made the left turn heading down the road he passed us and looked over and just shook his head. Knowing what just happened.
Be careful out there gents. Some Cagers should not be behind the wheel and it only takes one. *******!

Yeah, a green light means you start looking before moving. If you wait 3 seconds, though, the fruitcake behind you has already been on the horn for 2 of 'em!

always make a habit of looking both ways before pulling away from a traffic lite or stop sign. this has saved me a number of times, both on two wheels or four.
