Hi all

Check out www.leatt-brace.comThis company designs a neck brace that i reckon is essential for bike riders. I own a '03 Buell XB9S and wear my brace 90% of the time. It works the best with a full face helmet but should also work with a open face.

Your comments/thoughts on this product????

 

Sorry Dude, it'll get in the way of my airbag. If you want it, more power to you, but I ride to feel just a little less encumbered than I am in the rest of my life. But that's just me.

By the time you are dressed to ride, you will need to take a break. BTW, are you going to suit up in armor if they come out with that. IMO, if you are racing on the track, load up with the gear. Otherwise, ride comfortably. If all you are thinking about while riding is the potential for injury, you are missing out. Focus on the traffic. To hell with everything else.

Hay Tom,,,nice device for dirt bikes,,,but not essential for street applications,,,if fact I think it would be a safety hazard when in heavy,,busy,,traffric....

 

I actually have one that I use when riding my dirtbike. Under way you don't even know it's there. It's designed to be used with full coverage helmets, I don't think it would be much good with a little shorty. I think asportbiker could intergrate it into his riding gear and not have it look to weird. Might look a bit bizare on a cruiser bike. The one issue I think a road rider would have is it impedes looking over the shoulder. In the woods this is not an issue, on the road during a lane change i think this would bother me. I don't use mine when riding my EG.
