who makes the largest twin cam engine?
Hi,
Just curious,.....who makes the largest twin cam engine? Jims makes a 120" ; S&S has a 124", and on the GMR site, there's something about a 131".
I would eventually have my motor "taken all the way out", and just curious what's all out there.....

Hey traveler,
S&S makes a 145 incher. They started making them in 2003 to celebrate their 45th anniversary while Harley was celebrating their 100th. [8D]

Yeh, the 145 is built on the Evo platofrm instead of the Twin Cam, that's why I'm curious how far the've taken the TC out to.....
the "Vulcan 2000" is at 124 cubic inches, which is 2050cc......and water cooled[&:]

Sorry, Traveler. I've only seen the Vulcan once. It is actually a pretty nice bike and very well balanced. 124 would be plenty for this old geezer.

Hey, no problem. No offense meant at all. I just love Kawasaki's. If I didn't have my Superglide, I'd be ridin' a Vulcan 2000, with the front headlight changed though.......
. I just try to keep an eye on what is coming out of the Kawasaki plant, along with H/D, Victory, and a few custom shops!

H d has an exchange program out of texas,warrented by H D, the H D eng is 124. i forget the name of the co, but it is one mans name. Just saw a softail with one put in by my dealer.
