Default Cleaning the helmet liner

Any suggestions on how to clean the helmet liner. Been a hot summer in So Fla and want to clean the liner up a little. Thought the Harley helmet liners were zip out like my dirt bike helmets but its not.

Make a hot water and laundry detergent solution and scrub it out... put under a fan to dry and Fabreeze(sp?) the chit out of it! That's what my son just did with his full face lid~ This is one of the reasons I wear I rag under my lid.. it helps to keep most of the sweat out of the liner...

Clean? If it's that nasty, toss it in the front yard and hose it out....

There should be a label inside the helmet or on something that came with it. Soap and water shouldn't hurt it and may keep it from smelling like an old sock.

Start wearing a do rag under your helmet and get a new helmet liner.

Fabreez sprayed in the helmet at night and left to sit for the night will take the funky smell out.
