I've had them on two different bikes. The installation is very easy and they can be removed in less than a minute. Watertight, low maintenance. They aren't as nice as paint matched hardbags but they also don't cost $1500. IMO they areworth the money.

I had them mounted on my old Kawi 1500, lockable well constructed and designed with quick release. Priced
reasonably, however locks can be easily jimmied open.

I had them on my old '02 Honda Shadow 1100. They worked fine and had no problem with them. They didn't look that great on the Honda, but they did what they were supposed to do. I'd never put them on a Harley though.

I had them on my last bike and loved them. They look like leather 'til you get up close. Armor All keeps 'em looking good. Easy off. I had dual pipes on my right side and used the left bag as a cooler while at rallies.

A friend had the Cross Country bags on his Dyna, and on his four corners ride, both bags broke at the mounting points on separate occasions over bumps. Their customer service is giving him the runaround about replacing them under warranty. They claim that aftermarket shocks are to blame. He still runs the stock HD suspension.

A guy I work with has a set on his VTX1300. They are the cheepest god awfull ugliest looking bags I have ever seen. Maybe it is the set he bought but they are hard plastic with a texture to them to make them look like they are leather. They don't even have a lowe mounting point. They have a piece of teflon that rests between the bag and the shock. Things rattle like hell. Then the have this ugly a$$ push button lock on them for access. I wouldn't give a dime for a set of those let alone over $500 like he did. Sorry to be negative but those things are crap! Bryan
