You are so right.
The Hamsters, at least the founding fathers, are the real deal and represent all there is about biking. They wrench hard and they ride hard, and they have designed about half of the stuff that the RUB's and wannabes spend millions of dollars on.
Anyone knocking these guys just don't haveclue.
Bill
Just had to add, they don't have to ask someone how to or whether to wave, how to get on and off of the bikes, or whether to wear shorts, or chaps without pants.

plagiarized (copied from the web so it must be true) --->
"The Hamsters have chapters in Massachusetts, Minnesota, England, Italy and Japan.
The Hamsters have ridden to Sturgis for 25 consecutive years and have never followed the same route.
The 2,000-mile journey to Sturgis, South Dakota takes Hamsters an average of six days.
Arlen Ness, one of the original Hamsters, is the world's premier custom motorcycle builder and custom parts creator and distributor.
Annual dues are $100 and Hamsters who do not attend at least one function each year are voted out.
Some years there are no new Hamsters allowed into the club. Some years there are as many as seven. The average is two."

Doesn't sound like they trailer

RE: hamsters
Two of the guys at Capitol Harley in Lansing Michigan are Hampsters. The owner... Graydon Bell, and the parts manager, Ted Polichron.
In fact Ted is on the cover of the september issue of "American Cycle " magazine. and his bike he built is featured on pg. 32.

Perewitz, Donnie Smith, Arlen and Corey Ness, Keith Ball, Danny Gray.Because of what many of the Hamsters have done is the reason there is a motorcycle industry. I learned a long time ago that it's better to be thought of as a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubts. Many on this board should follow that advice.
