was in sturgis and saw a huge group called the hamsters, a club were you have to own a custom built bike. Some very nice choppers, but a bunch of older rich guys braggin about who has the ricer ride. Was sort of a joke as far as Im concerned. Each to there own I guess. I wonder if any of them ride them more than 10 miles a day. Ime sure most if not all were trailer down there. As far as Im concerned you buy a bike you ride it. I guess If you have money to burn go for it. On a side note, had a lot of fun while we were there
They are a very "exclusive" group. Heard you gotta have Howard Hughes money to trailer, I mean, ride yer bike next to theres!

Don't know much about them, but think I remember seeing an episode of Two-wheel-Tuesday (or something similar) on speed channel last year that focused on the group.
Their money, their choice what to do with it.
I think I'd rather own a custom bike in the garage than an ugly blot of oil paint on canvas hanging on my living roomwall if I were rich. I've seen people pay a lot more for paintings of nuthin than whata lot of those rich folks pay for their custom bikes. So...go figure.
The Hampsters. Aren't they based out of San Francisco? [8D]

industry leaders club...elite & theyre ideas and companies fueled your pastime....i wouldnt call em trailer queens myself tho
Not my industry leaders - maybe yours. This ain't no pastime - it's a way of life. Doubt I have much in common with any of em and in my circle, they are anything but elite! I was joking about the trailer thing - they are the handful of guys that actually ride their asses off on custom bikes.
