Where to go/what to do in Key West
I am headed to Key West for a couple days before heading back up to Daytona for Biketoberfest. Anything that is a must see/do down there? I want to see Mel Fisher's museum of artifacts from the Atochia. Plan on parking the bike for 2 days and drinking myself into oblivion...lol.
I also heard there were some 'clothing optional' bars... sounds nice on the surface, but not sure it would be on par with Lollypops in Daytona...lol.

Yeah, once you pass Marathon Key and head over the 7 mille bridge......
you will see all the sights. Hopefully if the weather co-operates.....and you are still standing...
you will catch a glimpse of the sun going down over the horizan..hippies and freaks galore usually.
(Gets you in the mood for Biketoberfest!)
See you at the Iron Horse Salloon!

You may want to go check out Mallory Square at sunset....there'ssome weirdness that goes on there you probably won't see anywhere else, with the exception of the French Quarter. [sm=insomnia.gif]It's at the end of Duvall Street.
For that, you may want to try the Hog's Breath Saloon or Sloppy Joe's, assuming they're still there. It was the early 90's when I was there.

Wild night life (and some day time freaks too).[sm=alien.gif] I enjoyed the Fisher museum also.
Even if you don't go anywhere the ride over the bridges are worth it.[sm=biker.gif] The water is every color of blue you can imagine.

Take the high speed catamaran out to Fort Jefferson in the Dry Tortugas, bring snorkle gear.
Dive or snorkle Looe Key. One of the best dive's in North America. Looe Key Dive Center about mm 30.
Check out the Key deer on Big Pine Key. About mm 40. The deer come out at sun down. They are about the size of a dog. There's also a gator hole on Big Pine that's full of large gators. Don't go to the gator hole at night.

The clothing optional bar is the garden of eden. 3rd floor above the Bull on Duvall. No cover when I was there so worth checking out. The later the better. Green Parrot(More Locals) and good music and is fun. Hogsbreath is good and usually has good music.
