Is anyone else having trouble getting the tank full without splashing it all over the tank?[:@]
The motor company changed the filler on the 6gal tanks to a very nice looking design but the result is a shallow neck and no depth to handle any that might splash out of the tank. I've filled this bike up a couple of times now and both times splashed gas all over the tank. The discouraging part is that this last time I was as careful as I could be and the same thing..........gas overflowing and running all over the tank.
Anybody figured out any method for filling it without this happening?

RE: 08 Fuel filler
Mind you, I have the 5 gallon tank and the first few times I kept looking to see how much more to stick in there. Gave it a couple of gas baths in the process. Now I just stick the nozzel in about 1" below the lip and let the auto-shutoff on the pump do it's trick. Forget the rounding the amount off, and the small amount that you might still be able to get in there won't get you home anyway.

I grab a paper towel from the window washing tank and hold it around the opening. Some of them just won't go slow enough and it doesn't have anything to do with overfilling it.
