S&S tear drop AC to Mikuni carb!
Im tired of my foot ball air cleaner cover!, I have a Mikuni carb with a Zippers air filter (which I like)
but there is just not many options for covers.
I picked up a S&S teardrop air cleaner kit for cheap, the mounting hard wear looks to be for an Evo engine.
I have mocked it to my TC engine and It looks like with a little coaxing it might work!
Im looking for anybody that has had succes doing this that has some tips or can suggest parts to make it go.
Areas of concern are the adapter from the carb to air cleaner base, and mounting the S&S backing plate to the engine. and getting proper venting from the head blowby ports.
any ideas welcome.
I also have a AN big sucker base plate too that I have not broken yet!
