I've had a few chase me, one caught up on a gravel road so I booted him in the face. Haven't been able to run one down yet though.

Years back I had a neighbors dog that would come running every time I came around the corner. My biggest fear was that the SOB would get caught in the spokes and flip me. Twice I put my foot out and caught him in the jaw, damn dog didn't learn the first time. Haven't had problems with any dogs since then.

My neighbor's dog chased me alot when I first started riding. He nipped me in the leg one day when I stopped. I gave him a good kick in the jaw for it. He bit my step brother on his bike too. Dog disappeared shortly after, and nobody claimed to know what happened to it. Although it wasn't me, I didn't miss it at all.

I had a dog hit me a couple of years ago. I was doing about 60 on a two lane country road. Luckily I saw him coming and started hitting the brakes and gearing down. Believe it or not he hit the frame right behind the front wheel and bounced out. I think he rolled a couple of times and thenhigh tailed it back to the front porch where he belonged. Scared the crap out of me. When I stopped I could find no damage. The onlything I could kind was some hair stuck here and there. I hope that never happens again. I think the two things that were a big help that day was things I learned in the MSF class that I took a few years back and riding dirt bikes.

My own dawg barks and snarls at me when I wear my leather gear. I'm tempted to run him over, but he has other good qualities, so - -

Amazing! I've never seen a dog ride a bike! Some talented monkeys ok, but a dog, WOW!!
