Can you go 1 day without breaking a law?
Lots of laws on the books.
It is my beliefs that NO ONE, not even a cop, can go a day without breaking at least one law.
Illegal music downloads?
Drinking a beer on your front lawn?
Speeding?
Seat belts?
And on and on.

Only if I set my mind to it. Even then I probably could not. Speeding would be my downfall. Not crazy speed but1 mile over is breaking the law.

I was cooped up sick in bed all one day and think I didn't break any laws. But, I did turn on CSPAN and watched Congress in action and I would have broken a law if I could have gotten my hands on a couple of those yahoos[:@]! Does that count?

I regularly break some weird laws. One of the weirdest is a misdemeaner for mispronouncing "Joliet Illinois" I still call it the joilet. Couple towns from it is Lemont, I still can't sat it without "Dummy" right after. Wonder if they have an anti-Fred Sanford ordinance on the books?

But... but... isn't all that behavior socially acceptable in Massachusetts?

There are the 'current, well knownlaws', and in many places (like here) there are many laws from years ago that have never been purged and are still in the books.
The city I live in was incorporated way back in 1865, and many of the old ordinances are still in place (but very seldom enforced for obvious reasons)..
Just for example, we have a city ordinance stating that if you ride/drive any type of motorized vehicle down main street, there must be a flagman in front of you to warn everyone.
If you dig deep enough I'm sure you would find that many laws are being broken each day by individuals that aren't even aware of the fact.

In MA it all depends on what side of the "social equation" you're on. Forunately I'm on the "wrong" side.
Only in MA can a politician get caught having sex with teenage boys and get re-elected over and over.[:'(] ****, someday they'll probably name a tunnel after him. But I digress...... [:@]

Where is it against the law to drink in your own yard, whether front or back?. Never heard of such a thing.

However, if you put it in a glass or a paper bag it is okay.
