Who makes the best trailer, bang for buck???
I'm in the market for an enclosed trailer. I would like to find out the pros and cons for trailers and motorcycle hauling. I would use this trailer for everything but want the goodies for motorcycle hauling trips. If you have some good pics that would be great! I live in Upstate NY so some trailers might not be available in my area.

I bought a 6x12Pace American from Home Depot for just under $3000 and havent had any complaints about it. I had to install a wheel chock and some eye bolts in order to tie it down, but that wasn't a big deal. I also need to buy an extra wheel and tire so I can have a spare in the event I have a flat. I'm sure there are much better built trailers on the market, but at what price.

Shorelander makes a "dandy" trailer. Neighbor has one for his fishing boat.

Pace American makes good trailers, also. Up here (Mn), we like aluminum based, SALT on the roads, YUK !!!!! But they do get pricey. I know most of them offer "motorcycle" versions, but if you are a Li'l "cheap" like me, and any type of "handy", you can wire in interior lights and install your own tie downs and save $$$. I use Pingel wheel chocks, you guessed it, cheaper than Condors, etc. In fact, I did this to my buddy's Pace, because I'm again, cheap, and I use his if I need an enclosed. Mine is a 2 place alum. open snowmobile trailer, I use it to move lawn equip, etc. I have had 3 bikes on it at one time. The chopper and 2 baggers. 2 facing forward and one backwards. Has 3000# axle under it. Happy hunting!!!!
OOPS, forgot one item - if possible, go with a V nose. Less wind resistance and IMHO, they pull straighter (?) or whatever you wanna call it. Ok, that's it.

Depends on your price range....Look at ATC (AluminumTrailer.com) I have owned two. Just picked up the new one last year. Its a GTS model made specifically for bikes. Good luck!

Rancealuminum.com I have a 7X14 V-Nose all aluminum dual axel with brakes and love it. I also live in Upstae NY. Another reason why I bought aluminum.

Diamond Cargo. They make a great trailer for the best price I have seen. Downside is that to get the best price you need to purchase factory direct through ebay and pick up the trailer in Georgia. For some idea of pricing, just search ebay for Diamond Cargo. Current bid on a 7' x 16' tandem is $1,500 (buy now $3,099 + 290 to replace the back doors with a ramp door).

Trust me, I don't like trailers either but I live on the American/Canadian border with only April through Octoberish of riding. The biggest reason for the trailer is, I will be moving soon and this will be excellent for moving all my toys to my new pad.
