I bought a 1992 FXR Superglide brand new. It now has 123,000 miles on it and is running strong. But since I bought by a 2014 Switchback, the FXR has become the second and occasional bike. There is nothing wrong with it. I could leave on a cross country ride with it right now. The Switchback however is a real nice, smooth, powerful bike. It's also got ABS. I ride that most of the time now. I can't part with the FXR.
i have plenty of friends who still ride evo's, shovels and panheads. i rode my evo all the time until i had a n accident and had to sell it to afford a trike.
