Default Air Cleaner Label Replacement

I put the Big Bore Kit on my '07 RoadGlide. The air cleaner still says "96 cubic inches". Does anyone know where I can get a new decal/sticker to place over it that will say "103 cubic inches"?

First of all, take the label OFF! (WD-40).

Then look at them thru your rear view mirror as they struggle to keep up with you off the line.

Enjoy your ride - you know what you've got. No need to broadcast it.

If it's the ring around the air cleaner, it's a glued on thin metal strip and it doesn't come off easily. Then it's a pain in the but to get the rest of the glue residue off. But as far as I know, there is no replacement ring. You have to replace the whole cover. HD makes more money that way.

I got a new ring for my a/c cover, check with your dealer. As for removing the old one heat it upwith a hair dryer and gently pull it off, after you have removed it use some WD-40 ( like doctorharrison said ) and clean up the residue. Not to tough

I took the stock ring off my air cleaner cover with wd40. I put on an orange & black Screaming Eagle trim ring. It looks great with the orange paint. I'd post a picture but can't find my camera. The SE trim ring was $ 4.95 from the stealer.

I replaced mine with the chrome cover that fits over the entire ring but I still had to remove the ring. I guess the reason I had so much trouble is because thebolt that comes with the chrome cover is too short. They included the original lenthbolt which dosn't fit 'cause now there's an additional piece. I went to the dealership and they didn't have any to give me or sell me. I had to go on line to buya chromebolt about 1/2 inch longer than they supplied. I now see HD sells the chromebolt for $9.

I just found a longer bolt and put a $ 2.00 HotTopper on it. My HotTopper is black, chrome is an option too.

You can have one made up custom at a decal manfucture. Were I live there a place that puts decals on police cars they make them up on a computter program on stick on vinal or decal type meteral that is applied with water and sponge. I would look on the internet under Custom decals. They coast around $20.00 bucks give or take $5.00

Default Big Bore Kit Installation Pics

Thought some of you might enjoy seeing the pics I took as I did the big bore installation. I did it myself, with some coaching from a friend, and a lot of studying of the shop manuals. Here's the link to the pics:
