I love the Crossbones and will add one to my collection soon if the money gods smile down on me. But I like the OCC bike too. Whats not to like about it? If you like the bobber look, it's hard to say it's not a good looking bike. Yes, it costs double the CB. But the one who buys it will have an original instead of one of the tens of thousands of CBs that will be sold.

IF money wasn't an issue and I had to choose between the OCC bike and the CB, I'd take the OCC bike because of it's rareity. But then again, before I bought the OCC bike, I'd check out WCC and the other big name custom builders to see what they could build for the same $$. It's not the name for me as much as it is having one of a kind - as much as you can anyway for only $35K.

But money is an issue for me as well as the fact that it couldn't be easily imported into Japan, so I'll get the CB when the money is available.

On a side note, the armed forces tv over here is a little slow - yesterday I watched the OCC show where they built Billy Joels bike. I didn't like the color too much but I did like the style. Wonder what he ended up paying for that bike...

Crossbones is definitely growing on me, but why didthey have to name it that? Just not into "campy" names for bikes.

If I was looking to buy a custom bike OCC wouldn't even be on my list.

I can't stand to watch OCC anymore. I could watch the parts about them building bikes, but I could care less about them going to the dentist or to visit grandma.

Yea the bikes are of the same style, but I wouldn't pay 35,000 for the OCC bike.

I guess one can spend all one wants to on any bike, they are all very cool, just a matter of $.

My question is where did Paul Sr. get the small helmit he is wearing in the top of the picture?

It makes you wonder which of the two will hold a better value.
