sewing is best but if you want to glue a patch to leather use barge cement, if you can't find that Tandy makes a good leather glue. I think it's the same thing. If you follow the directions, rough up the leather, put glue evenly on both pieces and let completely dry it will never come off. I use it to make endless leather belts for old shop equipment and turing 1850 rpm with a lot of tension is more flex then a jacket will ever get. But as I said, make sure it's on the way you want it cause it will be there a while.

Glue[X(]....I have my wife or the leather shop sew mine on....Glue[]..O wait i do use super glue on pin backings so they dont fall off....
