Default Harley credit

I have a question about financing a bike. Does Harley go by credit score, cs and income or what? My Friend got a loan 4 months after filing for bankrupts so I'm unsure on this. I've heard before Harley is weird on this stuff.

Harley will finance anyone. If you have a bad credit score you will get 14.9% though.

If you have stellar credit, they offer you 9.75%.

Go elsewhere.

It is hard to not get financed with harley, but I have a friend who was turned down, so it does happen. The wife and I went and applied for financing, after our bankruptcy. We got approved, but the interest rate was so high, we figured something else out... If you have decent enough credit, I would search for an alternative. Remeber that buying a bike is just like buying an RV, so the interest rate does seem to be higher, in most cases... Good luck, and the way I see it, if it is meant to be, you will find a way to make it happen... heck, we did...

I filed bankrupcy and had perfect credit. Had to do it when Bush passed the new law. I paid 13.9% but had no debt , so who cares.

do you think the interest rate goes down if you pay on a loan for awhile with them and then buy another bike? even though the credit history stays the same.

In in Jacksonville, FL they gave me 7.75%. Didin't seem to bad NAvy Federal Credit Union was the same. I had a bank bankrupcy about 10 years ago (mostly credit cards for daughter's medical bills) and I have bought 2 new cars, refinanced the house @ 4.25%. Not sure what they look for.

Homeland Security before we knew what to call it.

Check with your dealer about any financing specials. Last June I was able to get 4.99% with no$ down for 5 years. They were also offering 0% BUT only on 3 years and shorter.I don't know if they are still offering any of this but with the economy in the ******* who knows.

Good luck. JB
