Men's Hydration Jacket

IN-STORE PURCHASE ONLY Contact dealer for availability

Our all-new interior cooling system is the next best thing to air conditioning. Removable polyacrylate crystal pouches located on the chest, upper and lower back absorb and hold water to help keep you cooler in high temperatures. As wind flows through the jacket, the packs slowly evaporate, releasing cool air for allover riding comfort. Features pre-curved sleeves with snap-down adjusters and zippered cuffs, adjustable hook-and-loop tabs at waist, two zippered hand-warmer pockets and one inside chest pocket. Embroidered graphics on chest and back. Polyester knit, foam-backed sandwich mesh with nylon trim. Soak pouches (up to five minutes) to hydrate pouches before placing in jacket. Pouches will last for one year with an average of 50 uses.

Sounds ok but there are numerous other sites where you canet very effective cooling vests that work the exact same way for only 19.99 and just wear that under your mesh jacket that already has armour in it.I dont require the HD logo and price in order to stay cool.

Why would something designed to keep you cool require hand-warmer pockets?

I have the HD mesh jacket. I think I paid around $80 for it at the HD store. It works very well. The idea is to wear a t-shirt under it, and when you begin to perspire, the air moving through the jacket keeps you cool. Works great here in the desert.

The thing that bothers me is the limited lifespan of the packs. I'd use them up in two months here in Central Florida!
