RE: Checking Firearms at Canadian Border
Greetings,
The last time we crossed (in Montana) I stored my weapon in a small bar in Sweetgrass. The bar has a large gun safe and is a known storage location, as recommended by the border guards. I believe that they charged me $20 to hold for a week.

Went up to Canada last weekend. They didn't ask. All they wanted to see was my photo ID. But be safe and read the link above.

Canadian supreme court - "All guns are capable of being used in crime. All guns are capable of killing and maiming. It follows that all guns pose a threat to public safety. As such, their control falls within the criminal law power."
 \\;
 \\; I guess knives and even automobiles would fall into that category?
