I would like to know if anyone knows the towing capacity of a 2005 Sportster Trike. I just purchased one and want to get a tow behind trailer but do not know how much weight the trike can comfortably handle.

 

Cycle trailers are light and easy to roll. There is much less stress on the bike than carrying a passenger. Typical tongue weight is only 20lbs or so on a properly loaded trailer.

 

And a trike would be able to handle it better than a two-wheeler due to the suspension. Motor certainly powerful enough.
