Default Pop, pop, pop, pop.....

Had my bike dyno'd and it pops like an S.O.B. on decel and sometimes between gears. Don't know if i like this or not.

i would take it back they should get rid of the pop.

Well, if you have an EFI bike with a stage one, sounds like they leaned it out on you to meet EPA requirements. Another possibility is if you had an exhaust put on you may have a leak and it's sucking air and igniting the exhaust gases.

If you have a PC111 you can change the numbers in the 0 throttle column to 20 above 1250 rpm range. Like magic.

It's the screaming eagle race tuner.. I can't make any adjustments myself.

I'd called them to let them know about the popping. He asked what exhaust I had and I told him V&H. He said that was normal for V&H, but to bring it in and he would have a tech test ride it.

It is not normal for V&H. They need to get it right.

My dealership tunes these systems everyday with no 'pop'. The only issue comes from overly open systems attached to mild builds. The normal VH system is not a problem.

V&H does not 'pop', take it back and make them fix it.
