Default Lyndall Z+ brake Pads

I just installed the Lyndall Z+ brake pads on my 06 Fatboy. It only took me about 45 min to do the front and rear brakes, and let me tell you they are fukin awesome. I had EBC organic pads on the bike before, and well the were marginally better than stock, but the Lyndall's are great. They stop much, much better than the EBC's did. The bike now has the braking power that I wanted it to have in the first place. Now we just have to see how long they last, as the EBC's wore out really quick with about 8K miles on them. So if your looking for brake pads, get the Lyndall's you wont regret it.

I get about 50% more mileage out of the Lyndall's vs. the stock pads. They are great!

Yeah, wait about 2 or 3 hundered miles. They'll be squealing like a hog. I can't wait to get em off my softail, and fling em as far as I can.

I have over 24000 miles on my Z-Plus pads (still have around 50% left on the front and 60 - 70% left on the rear), and the only time they make any noise is the first use just after it has rained. Once the water evaporates, they're silent. They are far superior to the stock pads in braking, lack of dust, and longevity.

Cheers!

+1 on the noisy pads with mine. Squealing from the front pads and howling from the rear. AND...my rear wheel is covered with brake dust. I feel that I wasted over $100 on these pads. I'm glad that others have had good luck with them though.

I finally gave up on my Lyndall pads on the rear. They squeal like a stuck pig. Took them off 4 times to clean and rough them up per Paul, at Lyndall’s, suggestion including installing a replacement set Paul sent me. So I finally bit the bullet and put Harley stock pads back on the rear. Not looking forward to the brake dust they will produce. I’ve kept the Lyndall pads on the front brake as they are running great.

Ok, so are Lyndall pads good are do they squeel like pigs and suck? It's goin back and forth which makes this thread kinda useless for gaining any kind of useful info.
