I found the dealers in my area were very motivated to sell before the year end. I shopped in the fall and I got far better deals and pricing just before Christmas. I think they were very motivated to finish the calendar year on a good note. That is why there is a new one sitting in my garage right now! Got all winter to chrome it up and dream!

I found this to be the case at a dealer I really like, but is not "local" for me. The salesman was going CRAZY to sell me a new Road Glide. Ultimately I walked, but the thought of a new bike kept bugging me. I emailed the dealer for a "Rock Bottom Price" just like their website told me to do. I mentioned the salesman I had talked to the previous weekend but, unfortunately, he wanted to play the haggle game instead of quote me a price. Good for me, bad for him because I likely would have bought a bike I did not need, and got a divorce as a result.
