if i took my 09 SG to a custom motorcycle shop (not the HD dealer) to put some 16in bars on and after the install, i was gettin the 4 and 5 dtc codes that everybody that does this updrage seems to be getting, did i void my warranty since HD didnt do it. or can i bring them my bike so they could fix it?

 

How does swapping bars cause error codes? is that a super glide or a street glide.

 

well all the wiring had to be extended and crap radio, cruise--- (not working) signals trottle by wire ect, so anything from a short to a sensor can be the issue (street glide)

 

They are not going to fix someone elses install

 

Take it back to the dude who put your bars on if you ask me, hell it worked when you brought it to him.
